EnglishA 24-a Conferință Anuală EUROCLIO va avea loc în perioada 2-7 aprilie 2017 în Spania, la Donostia-San Sebastián și se va desfășura sub titlul: “Intersections: How can History Education Change Today?”.
Conferința își propune să dezbată rolul educației istorice în actualul context internațional și lansează câteva subiecte de reflecție: identitate/identități, local/global, comunitate/națiune/Europa, rolul educației istorice în modul în care ne raportăm la trecut și prezent?
Conferință Anuală EUROCLIO va pune la dispoziția participanților mai multe ateliere de lucru, va facilita schimburile interculturale și va oferi posibilitatea de participare la mai multe vizite ghidate.

EUROCLIO (European Association of History Educators) is delighted to announce the official Call for Participation for the 23rd EUROCLIO Annual Conference Professional Development and Training Course on ‘Remembering the Difficult Past through History and Heritage Education’ in Belfast, Northern Ireland. The conference will run from the 19th until 25th March 2016.
Educators from all over the world are invited to apply to participate in one of the most significant history education conferences in Europe.
2016 marks the centenary of two important events in History, namely the Easter Rising and the Battle of the Somme. Both events have come to be seen as key moments in the history of both sides of a divided city. How these issues, amongst others, are taught can provide a number of obstacles for teachers to overcome.
How can we teach controversial history in a responsible manner?
The conference aims to explore this question through an active programme which will engage the participant in workshops, dialogue tables, open spaces, on-site study visits, public debate and reflective and interactive panels. The core group of teachers and heritage educators will be involved in activities that will empower them to engage their students and other target groups in critical debate from multiple perspectives.

EUROCLIO is looking for new trainees: are you up for the challenge?
EUROCLIO offers university students in the final stage of their University Bachelor degree or in their Master degree the opportunity to enrich their knowledge with the practical experience of working for an International NGO in the field of History Education.
As a trainee, you will learn all about the world of an International NGO. You will get in touch with different institutions, donors, funding organs, and international associations and learn about the importance of networking, organizing and reporting. Your tasks include communication with members and partners, public announcements, fundraising and all aspects of event management. It is also possible to do a research traineeship.
For our Spring 2015 (February – July) traineeships we are looking for dedicated students that have:
• An interest in History, History Education and International Cooperation;
• Skills in Standard Microsoft Office Applications;
• Flexibility, strong motivation and the capability to work independently;
• Fluency in written and spoken English, which is the working language at the Secretariat. Knowledge of any other language is an advantage.

A XX-a Conferință anuală de perfecționare profesională EUROCLIO, 7-13 aprilie 2013, Erfurt, Germania

Această a XX-a întrunire anuală la care am putut participa cu mijloace proprii a avut loc la Erfurt, capitala Thuringiei din Germania, între 7 și 13 aprilie 2013, sub titlul ”Reflecting Remembrance. Teaching History for a Common Culture of Remembrance”.
Programul acesteia, împreună cu informația necesară, a fost imprimat în condiții grafice de foarte bună calitate într-un caiet A4 de 28 p. Euroclio a beneficiat de astă dată de colaborarea oficială a Asociației Profesorilor de Istorie din Germania, împreună cu organizația provincială locală. (more…)
